Over the past few months, while this blog was being neglected, I went through a bit of a “crisis” of sorts with regards to some of my extra curricular activities. I felt my motivation to go mountain biking just disappear.
So What Happened
It’s Not the Bike. Lessons from the Haleiwa Metric Century.
The Haleiwa Metric Century Ride is now in its 25th year. It starts just down the road from where I live on the north shore. Close enough that I can leisurely ride my bike to the start line, pick up my packet, take the schwag bag back to my house and make it back to the start line all in the time span of about 25 minutes.

Bike Goals for 2016
All right as promised here are my bike goals for 2016 and beyond!
With the help of my coach, Coach Richard over at Ninja Mountain Bike Performance, I have split these up into Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term goals.
The Year Ahead
One of my favorite part about new years is the tradition of setting goals and looking forward to what can be accomplished in the year to come. I am a firm believer that the more explicit and concrete a goal the more likely it will be achieved and that by writing down and sharing our goals we further increase the chances we will not let them fall by the wayside.
